Preliminary Research Presentations 

Pre-trip education and service are very important aspects of the Alternative Spring Break program at Rice and ones we took to heart in our journey of building A Glass Half-full. Beyond doing service with several organizations associated with water and conservation, reading literature on the topic, and hosting expert speakers; we also encouraged learning by teaching. We focused on this by assigning teams of participants to research and present on sub-topics within our subject of interest.
