Day 8: Travel San Francisco → Houston

Today was our final day in California and marked the end of what was an exhausting but eye-opening experience for both participants and site-leaders. After thanking our wonderful hosts at the Unitarian church, we loaded our bags into our van for the last time and started on our way from Monterrey back to San Francisco. From there we said goodbye to California and returned home to Houston with changed perspectives and a strong drive to try and make a difference at home and throughout our lives.
